MAGIC TOWNS

The most interesting and historic tour in Puerto Vallarta. A journey through the traditions, history, legends, crafts, and cuisine of Jalisco and Mexico.

Description

Enjoy a scenic drive through the lush green mountains and mountain ranges that are part of Mexico’s Trans-Mexican Volcanic Belt. You will make a brief stop at a beautiful ranch for a delicious breakfast featuring Mexican coffee from San Sebastián.
After breakfast and a short drive, we will visit the ancient colonial town of Mascota, founded in the 15th century. There, you will feel as if you have stepped back in time with its impressive unfinished church of “La Preciosa Sangre,” the main church of “Nuestra Señora de los Dolores,” the town hall, the main square, and the market, where locals buy their fresh fruits and vegetables.
We will continue our journey to the religious town of Talpa de Allende, founded in 1599, where the miraculous Virgin of the Rosary attracts thousands of pilgrims and visitors throughout the year from all over Mexico, many of whom come to give thanks for favors or miracles received.
Once in Talpa, you will learn about its history, customs, and traditions while visiting the local cemetery, the Temple of San José, the main Basilica de nuestra señora del Rosario, the Main Plaza, the Virgin Museum, and the famous factories de "rollo de guayaba", where of course we will enjoy a tasting of this traditional sweet. To complete your journey through this hidden part of Mexico, you will enjoy a special lunch with the best panoramic view of the city.
